Our Origins

Kopa Telecom was created through the merger of Popconn (founded in 2014) and Truconnect (founded in 2015). Together, we bring years of expertise and a shared vision to deliver reliable, high-speed internet across Rwanda and beyond.

Built on a Strong Foundation

Our network runs on Rwanda’s largest fibre infrastructure—originally developed by the Government of Rwanda as the National Fibre Backbone to connect public institutions nationwide. Today, we build on this backbone to bring advanced connectivity to households, businesses, and organizations.

Technology That Delivers

By deploying world-class last-mile technologies, including Fibre-Optic Cables (FOC) and LTE, Kopa Telecom ensures seamless, high-speed access for every type of user, from everyday browsing to enterprise needs.
